Town Center Drive is one of Summerlin's original spines. The first leg of Summerlin Parkway was completed out to Town Center Drive by 1990, which makes this one of the earliest parts of the community to be opened up and one of the first to be built on. Housing around the corridor therefore skews toward Summerlin's first and second waves rather than its newest, and it is mixed in density, with single family streets, townhomes and condominium developments close together.
