Air conditioning work in Montecito

Montecito sits in Centennial Hills, the northwest corner of the city of Las Vegas. The area was largely opened up in the mid 1990s as the city pushed northwest along US 95, with entitlements for the big master plans running from about 1994 to 1998 and the bulk of construction completed between 2002 and 2010. Northwest Las Vegas was given the Centennial Hills name in a public contest on January 17, 2001, the winning entry taking 2,222 votes.

A whole neighborhood reaching replacement age together

A build-out concentrated into 2002 to 2010 has an awkward consequence twenty years on: the original equipment across an entire neighborhood ages in step. Homes here are now at or past the point where first systems typically fail, and they tend to fail in the same summers as the neighbors'. If your Montecito home is still on its original equipment, the sensible time to look at it is a shoulder season, not the week it stops during a July heat wave.

The load a Montecito system is actually carrying

Las Vegas averages a July high of 104 degrees on about 4.18 inches of rain a year, at roughly 2,000 feet. Centennial Hills lies around sixteen miles from downtown Las Vegas and eighteen from the Strip, on the open northwestern edge of the valley, where there is little to break the wind and blowing dust reaches outdoor equipment readily.
