AC Installation and Repair in South Rampart, NV

Air conditioning work on South Rampart

Rampart Boulevard forms Summerlin's eastern edge and the south end of it is one of the busiest mixed corridors in the western valley, with resort and office development along the road and established Summerlin residential immediately behind it. Housing set back from Rampart largely belongs to Summerlin's earlier phases, so it sits at the older end of the community's thirty five year build-out.

Two very different customers on one street

Work along South Rampart divides cleanly. On the commercial side there are offices, medical suites and hospitality running rooftop packaged units on long duty cycles, where the usual failures are economizer dampers, contactors, belts and blocked condensate. A hundred yards behind, there are single family homes and condominiums on split systems where the usual failures are capacitors, compressors and frozen evaporator coils. Saying which side of that line you are on shortens the call considerably.

The load a South Rampart system is actually carrying

Las Vegas averages a July high of 104 degrees and about 4.18 inches of rain across the year, in the driest major metropolitan area in the continental United States. Monsoon moisture pushes into the Mojave in July and August, raising humidity and bringing scattered thunderstorms, and the blown dust that comes with those storms is what loads filters and coats condenser coils.
